Google Docs can be copied on a iOS / iPad tablet using the Google Docs (or from Google Drive) app.

  1. Open the Google Doc in the Google Docs app.
  2. Select the three stacked balls in the upper right hand column, then select "Share & export"
  3. Select "Make a copy"
  4. Google Docs will automatically make a copy of the document as a new Google Doc.
